Shipping and Maritime Logistics
Shipping activities are a key to success

The Shipping and Maritime Logistics Department of Interbulk Trading S.A. is responsible of Italcementi Group’s shipping activities. The mission is to provide a shipping service matching Italcementi Group’s needs, high performance standards, and at best competitive market prices.

This ambitious goal is achieved through:

  • a continuous increase in volumes and scale of operations
  • a wider network of shipping activities at Group level
  • a top notch market knowledge
  • a spread “shipping culture” within Italcementi Group

The activities of the Shipping and Maritime Logistics department have followed the Group’s trading trend recording the same strong development.

Considering the ever-growing value of freights and the fact that shipping is becoming a key to success, the Group decided to enter the shipping business. A focused number of strategic partnerships were selected to create a network of alliances among ship-owners and industrial producers.

With the aim of exploiting synergies and leveraging our partners’ expertise, an integrated operational hub was created in Genoa.
