• Adjustable thickening times and rheology of the slurries; 
• Shorter suspension time during drilling operations (“Wait on Cement”) while allowing cement slurries to solidify, harden and develop compressive strength at early age (8-hours strength development)
• High durability in water beds characterized by aggressive chemical attacks from geological formations.

The assurance of Italcementi Group Oil Well Cement’s conformity to API SPEC 10A standard requirements already starts at quarries with the selection of top-quality raw materials and proceeds to dedicated clinker and cement production under strict and tightly controlled process conditions.
In particular, the clinker production ensures perfect homogeneity of the row material entering the kiln and the superb crystalline structure and definition of silicates and aluminates.
Consistent cement quality is also obtained through rigorous control of the temperature upon clinker grinding. Assessment of cement quality is carried out by our laboratory, well provided with suitable and calibrated test equipment to meet all chemical, physical and performance requirements according to API SPEC 10A.
