Materials for cement production
Calcium Fluoride

Interbulk Trading SA supplies Calcium Fluoride (Fluorite) in flakes at a highly competitive price/quality ratio compared to the products commonly available on the market.
Calcium fluoride (CaF2) is an insoluble ionic compound of calcium and fluorine. Calcium Fluoride is a typical fluxing material used in the cement industry for reducing the temperature at which clinker is burnt. Cement manufacturers usually add calcium fluoride during the preparation of the raw mix to produce white cements, to optimize production costs for grey cements and to reduce CO2 emissions. Acceptable purity for this application ranges from 40% to 50% CaF2.

 Gypsum

As it is well known, the cement industry uses calcium sulfate (natural gypsum, chemical gypsum and anhydrite) mostly as a setting regulator (typical addition rate is 3-5 %) upon clinker grinding.
Gypsum and anhydrite occur in nature as flattened and often twinned crystals and transparent cleavable masses. They may also occur in either a silky and fibrous, granular or a quite compact form.
Chemical gypsum and chemical anhydrite are by-products of thermoelectric power stations.
